How we work
One company, start to finish.
We collect the animals, hold them in isolation, do the vet testing and make sure it follows the correct USDA protocol, build the crating ourselves, load the aircraft, fly a groom with them and hand them over at the other end. There is no point in the journey where your animal becomes somebody else's problem.
We ship from whichever US gateway suits your animals — Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and Miami among them. Animals are held at USDA-approved isolation facilities we work with, chosen to suit the species and the departure airport.
That is the argument for a boutique operator over a large freight business: fewer handoffs, professional grooms who fly with the animals, and one company answering for the animal from the origin barn to the destination trailer.

What does Flying Horse Services actually do?
We move live animals from the United States to Asia-Pacific, door to door. That means collecting the animals, holding them at a USDA-approved pre-export isolation facility, running the destination country's veterinary test panel, getting the health certificate endorsed by USDA APHIS, building the crating or air stables, flying the animals with professional grooms aboard, and handing them over on the ground at the destination.
Which animals do you transport?
Horses, breeding livestock — cattle, swine, sheep, goats and poultry — and exotic and zoo species including zebras and hoofstock. Flying Horse Services started as a horse shipping company and expanded into livestock and exotics over more than forty years.

Because that is where our relationships are. Forty years of moving animals into Asia-Pacific means we know the protocols, the airlines, the quarantine facilities and the agents at the receiving end. We ship from whichever US gateway suits your animals — Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and Miami among them.
How long does an export take?
Typically 60 to 120 days from first enquiry to departure, and 90 to 150 days for China, Australia and New Zealand. Very little of that is flying — it is import permits, pre-export isolation, the veterinary test panel and USDA endorsement, none of which can be accelerated by paying more.

Do you still ship outside Asia-Pacific?
Yes. Asia-Pacific is our specialization, not our limit. We ship domestically across the United States and internationally to Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere. If you have animals to move, ask.
